Dr. Amir Hamidi, a key member of PACAN and speaker at the upcoming PACAN Gala on March 12th, is an internationally recognized expert in global terrorism. Highly decorated over the course of his 36 years of distinguished service, he is a seasoned US diplomat, international strategist and public policy adviser, who has been engaged by financial and government institutions domestically, internationally and widely regarded as a visionary on the strategic impacts of information, where he has held various domestic and international assignments. He served as Country Attaché at the United States Embassy in Abu Dhabi and Consulate General in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
Dr. Hamidi’s ventures also include his role as Chairman of the Board of Falcon Global Strategies, where he specializes in cyber-security, the application of information sharing and information security solutions for government agencies and law enforcement professionals. A certified Human Rights Consultant at the US Institute of Diplomacy and Human Rights in Washington, D.C., Dr. Hamidi’s endeavours extend far beyond this realm, reaching charitable, educational, and scientific bodies of work.
Serving as a Resident Special Agent in Charge, Dr. Hamidi managed and directed criminal investigation and supported the prosecution of a broad range of both domestic and international crimes. The majority of his experience primarily involved the investigation of complex criminal unilateral U.S., and bilateral international investigations. Dr. Hamidi has consistently represented US DOJ DEA domestically and internationally.
Dr. Hamidi’s work as Chief Executive Officer at Threat Deterrence has included the incorporation of a nine-point disruption strategy Threat Deterrence, through Intelligence Led Protection (ILP) bringing threat deterrence to a whole new level. ILP provides end-to-end threat mitigation strategies that are seamless and completely integrated into the customer’s threat environment, often with much greater cost inefficiencies than existing capabilities based approaches.
