There must be some sort of correlation between being an Iranian-born pop singer and egg fertilization.
Javanan.com has learned that Warner Music artist Arash and his wife of a little more than year, Behnaz, are expecting fraternal twins next month. Pop entertainer Mansour is expecting his 3rd child with wife Sogol later this year. Sogol gave birth to twins in 2010.
The 35-year-old Arash, who was recently in New York to perform at a private function with R&B star Ne-Yo, told Javanan that there’s quite a bit of irony that his first father’s day celebration will be spent with 2 babies. “During our wedding, the videographer came around and asked what one of our dreams was,” Arash recalled. “I looked into the camera and said that Behnaz and I wished that we would have twins soon, a boy and a girl. It’s unbelievable.”
The couple has yet to reveal the names they chose for their offspring, however, Arash said they have narrowed the list down to a few favorites, and all of candidates are Persian monikers. Arash and Behnaz have already decorated their kids’ rooms at their home in Sweden, complete with cribs, clothes and mini-chairs shaped like cars.
Despite his busy schedule – he has a new single coming out for the summer that he promised fans will love – Arash managed to make time to take Behnaz on a “babymoon” to the exotic island nation of Maldives in January.
The 40-year-old Mansour, who married Sogol in October 2008 at the Intercontinental Century City (L.A.), has not revealed any further info regarding his wife’s pregnancy.
